Sunday Gatherings are a time where we gather around Jesus and his remarkable grace. We remember who God is and what he has done through singing songs, praying, studying the Bible, and taking communion. We also welcome those who are seeking, skeptical, or curious. It is our sincere desire to thoughtfully explore your questions about God and Christianity with you. If you’re visiting for the first time, you can expect to meet a warm, casual community that cares about one another and the needs of our city. We’d love to meet you.
Our Sunday Gatherings happen at 9:30am, with the exception of the last Sunday of the month where we only gather in Missional Communities instead. Pre-K children can be checked in upon arrival, while children older than first grade join their parents for the beginning of the gathering before heading to children's ministry. If you have any questions ahead of time, feel free to shoot us an email.
Sundays at 9:30am / Sycamore Clubhouse / 635 Old Orchard Drive / Danville, CA 94526
On Sundays, we have a fun and exciting children's ministry, as well as a middle school/high school bible study. Learn more about Soma Students here. As a church, we are dedicated to equipping parents to be the primary spiritual influence in the lives of their children. We come alongside the ministry of parents in teaching and modeling Jesus.
Did Jesus really live, die, and rise from the dead? How much can we really know? Using only the most basic, historical facts agreed upon by both conservative and liberal scholars, along with the principles used by professional, cold-case investigators, we will examine the historicity of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Sundays in April. Learn more about "Investigate."
A missional community is a family of servant missionaries who make disciples who make disciples. They are smaller groups of people learning to love one another as family, serve their community, and be witnesses to the good news of Jesus Christ. Missional communities are designed to be intergenerational, with a mix of both families and singles. In our missional communities, we learn to follow Jesus in the everyday stuff of life.
Soma is committed to being the church all week long, not just for an hour on Sundays. The best way to get to know what we are all about is to visit a Missional Community. See a listing of Missional Communities below, and when you’re ready to visit one, email a group leader:

A DNA Group usually consists of three people—men with men, women with women—who help one another to discover Jesus in the Scriptures, nurture the truths of the gospel in their hearts, and take action to obey what Jesus calls them to. These groups are a safe place to share both our struggles and our hopes, and receive the help that we need to become more like Jesus. Learn more about DNA groups through the DNA guide below:
